Lindsey Wert, MFT Intern #56807

Lindsey is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern in Petaluma, CA and works for Hope Counseling Services where she provides psychotherapy for a variety of populations. She also   works under Erin Riley, Ph.D in Sebastopol, CA. Lindsey has experience working with anxiety disorders, trauma, cutting, suicide, and eating disorders in children, teens and adults. She also has training in suicide prevention, rape/domestic violence intervention and is undergoing certification to become an Eating Disorder Specialist through the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals. Lindsey grew up in California and has know since her teenage years that psychology would be her vocation. Personal experience has drawn her to this field.

In her off time Lindsey enjoys art, soul collage, hiking, singing, movement and spending time with those she loves. Lindsey earned her degree from Sonoma State University (BA) and her Masters in Counseling Psychology from Meridian University. Through her training she has learned soul, art and body based methodologies. She is passionate about eating disorders, trauma, helping others to learn how to self love and heal from body hatred.
